Little Miracles

I'm not a religious person, nor even a particularly spiritual person but I've always had the sense that fate was at work all around me and that whatever will be will be.  I'm also keenly aware of what I've come to think of as little miracles - not the disappearing cancer, surviving a plane crash, finding your lost twin type of miracles but the subtle bits of "good luck" that pop up at just the right moment.  Mine almost always concern money.  This week a little miracle turned up in the form of a family member who showed up for a cup of tea and left behind a cheque just when we needed it most though she had no idea of knowing that.
